Thames Valley Wing Muster
Thames Valley Wing Mustered together on the 6th of July to celebrate its merger with Buckinghamshire, marking the largest Wing in the RAFAC.
This was the first time the new Wing banner was paraded.
Thank you to all the VIPs and family that joined us for this event despite the unexpected poor weather.
Wing Drill Day
Over 100 cadets from around Thames Valley Wing attended a wing drill day.

Gliding for Didcot Squadron

Three cadets and our Officer Commanding went to RAF Little Rissington in Gloucestershire and spent the day gliding with No 637 Volunteer Gliding Squadron.
Carabao Cup

Cadets from Didcot squadron with cadets from across Thames Valley Wing participated in the opening ceremony of the England Football Association Carabao Cup at Wembley Stadium.
Successful first Initial Weapons Training of the year

This weekend at RAF Benson Cadets from across Thames Valley Wing met for the first session of a year-long programme of initial weapons training and live fire. 15 cadets left with a trained shot badge and a further 2 gained the marksman badge. Our next session is planned for March with details already available through Cadet Portal.
Didcot Sqn Standing with Giants

Didcot Squadron cadets and volunteers spent the evening with the charity Standing with Giants helping prepare service personnel silhouettes for the Normandy 80th anniversary commemoration.
Wing Marksmanship Training

Cadets from Didcot Squadron took part in the Thames Valley Wing Full Bore marksmanship training and target shooting.
South Oxfordshire Drumhead service

On Sunday the 4th of February Squadrons drawn from South Oxfordshire participated in Thames Valley Wings first ever Drumhead service to mark the 83rd anniversary of the Air Training Corps founding on the 5th of February 1941.

Didcot Squadron with other Air Training Corps Squadrons based in South Oxfordshire participated in the first ever Drumhead Service held in Thames Valley Wing to mark the 83rd anniversary of the founding of the Air Training Corps.
