Thames Valley musicians have joined forces with other cadets from across the South-West to celebrate RAF100 in style at a London Irish rugby game held at Reading’s Madejski Stadium.
Cadets from the Thames Valley included CWO Croggon and Cadet Fell from Newbury and Cadet Allport from Bicester. The Thames Valley cadets were joined by other cadets from Hampshire and The Isle of Wight Wing as well as Bristol and Gloucestershire Wing to entertain the crowds before a game against Saracens.
Wing Bandmaster, Flying Officer Amy Barker, was really impressed with the musicians “The cadets did really well, they showed great maturity and good work ethic”.
This event is one of a number of RAF100 activities being hosted by London Irish to showcase the Royal Air Force in it’s 100th year.
