As you may know the Royal Air Force Air Cadets have suspended all face to face activities due to the Coronavirus situation. Tonight was 2210 Squadrons first Virtual Parade Night where the cadets saw what they could do during this period to continue their training!
Congratulations to our cadets who received awards HeartStart, Method of Instruction, BTEC in Aviation Studies certificates and one Leading Classification. Time to get out that needle and thread!
On Wednesday 11th of March the cadets of 2211 Bracknell squadron tried their hands at Leadership exercises and Fieldcraft training building their skills ready for the summer to get out and about using these skills and knowledge.
#internationalwomensday saw WO Alice Pye with FS Chris Harding from Woodley Sqn leading a group of paddlers from the Air Cadets South West Region on the River Dart – experiencing some incredible white water action!!!
Well done to all cadets and adult volunteers who took part in the South West Region sports day covering rugby, netball, football and hockey and congratulations to all who were selected for the South West region teams.
2210 Cowley Squadron undertook a 12 kilometre walk in the Oxfordshire countryside to support the cadets knowledge and experience of navigation and countryside walking to prepare them for their Duke of Edinburgh Award scheme expeditions that they will be undertaking later in the year.
